if only so I can enjoying going to the grocery store again. I used to enjoy going to Kroger or, even better, making the 15 minute drive to Meijer... just for a little extra time in the car. But now... well grocery shopping is a whole different game. I shouldn't bitch about the busride, because it's free (thanks to my student ID), and the bus routes are pretty convenient. But what I can bitch about is having to limit my purchase to only what I can carry to and from the bus stop. A couple of weeks ago I thought I had the genius idea of taking my big laundry sack and putting my bags in that... but it didn't help any. Everything was still heavy and I was still pissed off when I got home.
On some lucky occasions, I can get a friend to give me a lift. But gas prices are high and I started to feel bad for asking... and now my most reliable friend is in Las Vegas for the week and the only other friend-with-a-car that's around for the summer isn't answering her phone.
I'm a bitter, carless, friendless busriding Kroger shopper. Thank you for listening to me whine. Have a nice day.
