So...

Since when do I have to have a narrow mind in order to have good moral values?
Why do I have to be considered unpatriotic just because I don't like the President?
Why do I have to be labeled an "America-hater" or "Crazy Liberal" because I don't like the way he's running things? WHY DO YOU AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT I DON'T LIKE BEING AMERICAN JUST BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THE PRESIDENT?!
Shouldn't it be considered patriotic to express my natural born freedom of speech? I mean, that's the beauty of this country, isn't it? Isn't that why the Founding Fathers of this country declared independance?

But I guess this is just a perfect example of the beauty of this country... you get to believe what you want and judge me for not believing in it too, and I, vice verse.

PS Would the previous post have offended you so if it hadn't been written by Michael Moore? I mean, 'cause he is the devil... right?

Touche, Ria, you CRAZY LIBERAL...maybe I came off a bit harsh. Although I do stand firm in what I said, I do agree that it is this precise freedom that is one of the beautiful things about this country-but it is these freedoms we are fighting to spread! And I would have said the same thing about the letter if it wasn't M.M., it's the foundation of the letter I find disturbing, and the fact you posted it, but it was b/c he wrote it stuck out to me. So I apologize if I offended you, I didn't mean to sound that way, you should know I can be awful opinionated. Anyway, I enjoy reading your journal and I still hope your opinion could be widened if you believe in what that letter embodies, but only because I care!
