I really don't like Winter Quarter at this university. It's the longest of year (even if it is only by a few days), there are no random days off in the middle so it's one big stretch to the finish line. The weather also makes it that much more unpleasant, because, let's face it, Ohio is not a hot vacation spot in February! Oh, and did I mention the lack of football during the winter months? I mean, this is a football school! I know what you're thinking, "There's no football during Spring or Summer Quarters either!" But hey, at least there's the Spring Scrimmage! And the football season officially begins during our regular Summer Quarter.
All right, moving on...
So, I didn't go to Vegas, but the trip was still great. My brother felt guilty that he couldn't take more time off from work to hang out, and I felt guilty that when we actually did hang out, he was paying for everything. But that's my life, other people paying and I'm always feeling guilty. Whatever. Anyhoo, I guess the best part of the whole trip is that I now feel somewhat closer to my brother. And that's worth something.
All right, now that the warm and fuzzies have invaded, I'm off to the gym!
Happy New Year!
PS Remind to later to post about my Adventures with Elmo, involving my experience hauling a larger-than-life-size stuffed Elmo through three different airports! I'm sure people thought I had some sort of mental developmental disability; 23 year old clutching her giant Elmo as she maneuvered through Chicago International! Gah!

Jen -
M-kat - glad to hear you had a great time with your brother! Mexico was grand. I think I'm going to move there. I'm going to Columbus at some point next week or something. Grr for not seeing you sooner, but we'll do it.
