It ends... and begins

So, finals week is upon us. Blegh. I have a final on Monday and one on Tuesday. I should be writing a paper for the one on Monday, but it's only 3-5 pages, so I'm not too worried (not after that 10-15 I pulled off Autumn Quarter the night before!) I just got off work, and it was quite possibly my last shift at Mirror Lake! Awww! I'm gonna miss it! But (hopefully) I'm movin' on to greener pastures. I got promoted to student manager and I'm transfering to a different location on campus. Woohoo! That means a hefty raise for Maria! I just hope I don't end up miserable... so just in case, I'm reserving some hours at MLC so I can come back if I end up hating the other place. Always gotta have an out...
So, that's the biggest news right now. I start that new gig on Wednesday, so that doesn't give me much of a break... but at least I get a tiny break from class til Summer Quarter begins on the 20th. And it's already hot as hell out! Ohio weather sucks, I'm tellin' ya. The summers can't be nice and warm, no, they're hot and humid! I'm such a wuss when it comes to the heat, I already have my AC on. I guess that's a little twisted since "my people" come from warmer climates (he he he), but I suppose that just comes from growing up in Ohio. I've been converted.
So, I suppose that's all for now. Wish me luck on finals!
