Monday, Monday

Being that it's the beginning of the week, I'm not exactly overloaded with fun stuff to blog about. What about last week? Well, you already heard about the concert on Tuesday, which was the highlight of the week. Saturday afternoon, I had a job interview for a box office position at a comedy club. That actually looks pretty promising, but I've learned the hard way that it's never a good idea to hold my breath. Saturday night, I went to B Dubs with a few friends, and that was a good time. But I reserved myself to only one beer (because that's really all I could afford), and later, a burrito.
Let's see, what do I have to look forward to this week? Well, I had an interview with a Peace Corps rep today (more about that later), I could possibly go see another show on Wednesday with a friend from work, but it all depends how things work out. Oh, yeah, I'll be heading home to my sister's house on Friday for the Easter weekend. Yup, that's the plan for the week. Aim high, but shoot for Friday.
Now, more on the Peace Corps interview.
Well, I had to answer some horridly vague questions (which were also, strangely, pretty transparent) and promise to get my paperwork finished by the end of the week. I have to go to the campus police department tomorrow to get myself fingerprinted, so that should be interesting. I also learned that, as of now, my application isn't that competetive. Well!
Okay, I guess I knew that already. So, tonight I have to get creative with the paperwork and skill ademdum (or whatever that feckin' phrase is), and make myself look a bit more appealing. I still have to interview with Columbus AIDS Task Force (since I missed the last appointment), so once I get going with them, I'll have something a little more exciting to add.
Anyhoo, Dawn's coming over tonight to watch Prison Break (I DVR it for her every week since she has class), and since she's been through all this shite before, I'll get her to help me a bit.

Oh, off the subject, I hope you enjoy the new iPod-looking thingy I recently added to this fabulous blog-o-mine. All I have uploaded so far is music, put I'll try to get some pics eventually. Their video uploading service doesn't work with Sprint right now, so that's kind of a bummer, but I'm hoping that'll change soon. So, feel free to put in some music requests or whatever. If I'm ever feeling particularly creative, I might try to provide a soundtrack to each post. How boutcha!
PS Pink was on Oprah today, talking about her "Stupid Girls" video. She kicks ass.
